Keys to Success Piano Studio is located at 3946 Ridgewater Drive, Lewiston and 411 4th Street in Nezperce, ID. Currently I have around 20 students enrolled...beginners to advanced; ages 5 thru adult. Late Summer/ Fall Semester (10-12 lessons) : Focus on Theory, Technique, some Composition and Performance. Students are prepared to participate in our local Chapter Ribbon Festival. Our Open House is scheduled the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Winter/Early Spring Semester (10-12 lessons): Focus on Ensemble Playing and Performance. I have some students who participate in Clarkston-Lewiston WSMTA Adjudications. Recital is usually around mid-April. Sometimes my late intermediate/advanced students continue lessons through Late Spring and Early Summer.
My experience: I began lessons at age 5 and continued in college. I have played for Church, school choirs, weddings, funerals, local plays and with local bands. I have been teaching students of all ages for over 40 years. A great decision was to join the Clarkston-Lewiston Chapter in order to network with other piano teachers. My students have successfully participated in the local Ribbon Festival and WSMTA Adjudications/Playoffs. Several students in the past have also successfully entered the WSMTA Composition contest. My goal is for my students to love and appreciate the language of music. It gives me great joy to be a part of the music world!
